Balletone: Sole Synthesis is the perfect starting place for the Balletone programs. The Sole Synthesis Instructor training is designed to showcase the Balletone Blueprint for Success and highlight the fitness, dance/pilates and yoga pathways available. Sole Synthesis is also a fabulous stand alone, fusion class that seamlessly blends creative movement sequences with mindful instruction for an incredible workout.
While we still encourage everyone to attend a LIVE training, we understand it might be difficult to find one close to you on a day you can attend. To capitalize on your interest and provide opportunities for more people to get in on the Ballet conditioning crazy, we are pleased to release the Home Study option. A guide will come with the manual, dvds and cds to help you navigate the Home Study. Plan to take 2-4 weeks to study the information and practice. You will then participate in an online test to receive your official MBA Certificate! This is all you need to provide documentation for your achievement. No CECs are awarded for the home study option as there is no way to adequately monitor the time that was taken to go through the course. However, anyone that participates in a Home Study may participate in a live training within a year at NO additional fee. After one year, you can attend a Live Training for our 'ReTrain' fee of $99 (consider this a refresher course). CECs are available during the live course! All Home Study participants that successfully pass their MBA Exam are afforded the same opportunities and privileges as a Balletone Instructor that is trained LIVE (see below). You may also choose to upgrade your Home Study package and go for the Principal MBA distinction. You will participate in the online theoretical test as well as the VIDEO REVIEW of your teaching. We HIGHLY recommend this option for Home Study participants!
After successful completion of the exam (scoring an 80% or better) and a review of the individual application, you earn the distinction of MBA: Master Balletone Ambassador.
As an MBA, you have the honor of:
- using the MBA title in your promotional materials
- using the official Balletone logo
- using the Balletone name (or name of the individual program for which you are trained)
- prominent listing on the Instructor Locator, including contact information to market your Balletone programs
- discounts on Balletone products and resources
- submitting choreography/class plans to be shared on the private MBA only section
If you believe you possess extraordinary skills as a Balletone instructor, you may elect to be reviewed for the Principal MBA level. Principal MBAs will be expected to have previously completed his/her MBA by completing the online application and exam. In addition, Principal MBA Elects will submit a DVD of his/her teaching skills to the Balletone offices for review along with a written class plan showcasing his/her understanding of the Balletone program for which they are seeking the Principal MBA distinction.
As a Principal MBA, you will have the honor of:
- all benefits of the MBA
- title of Principal MBA in the class locator
- additional discounts on products and future trainings
- opportunity to apply to become a Balletone Master Trainer
Both MBAs and Pincipal MBAs are available for each of the Balletone Programs (i.e. Standing Flow, Sole Synthesis, Center Moves, etc). Discounts are available for multiple MBAs. Fees are non-refundable, non-transferable. The title of MBA or Principal MBA are lifelong, requiring no renewals.
